Michael Adams, a.k.a "prence", pled guilty in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas on April 1, 2003, to conspiring with others to violate federal law by illegally importing, marketing, and selling pornography depicting explicit sexual acts by underage children. According to federal law, children under the age of 18 are prohibited from posing unclothed by law. Adams and his co-conspirators used www.eluid.org as the exclusive outlet to market, distribute, and sell their "kiddie porn" to individuals in the illegal porn scene.  As a result, the eluid website is now the property of the United States government.  Individuals involved in this conduct face up to fifteen years in federal prison and a fine of $500,000 for each count charged.

The Department of Justice and federal law enforcement will continue to investigate and prosecute individuals and groups that violate the child pornography laws at home and abroad. For more information on these and other federal internet investigations, visit www.cybercrime.gov.
