Yes, maybe it is just a prejudice against illegal immigrants that just so happen to be Mexican who carry the stigma of being freeloaders and such unlike european immigrants who were ushered into this country in order to take over farming subsidies by the government in order to keep blacks and hispanics out of the question. Comments don't turn racist. The intent by which they are made defines their being racist or not. By stating that "all black stereotypes have been proven true", you are stating that all black individuals are watermelon eating bike thieves who only care about cash, cars, and hoes. Of course that is not racist. It is only a prejudice against individuals who so happen to like watermelon, steal bikes, and care only about cash, cars, and hoes. Right?

Ok. Let me step back for a second. Being half Irish and half Mexican is a great point of view in order to take society into perspective. Yes, Irish people were enslaved by the elitist system that was in place during the early phases of our country's construction. How many years were their (Irish Americans as well as other European immigrants) conditions within the lower part of the gutter suffered? Maybe you should find the answer to that question and compare it to the number of years current conditions of minorities within our country have been suffered. I've done my part in reaserching history. I don't talk out of modest recollections of what I believe is true because I see some cases of it around me.
Max, racism isn't just blatant hatred. Someone who thinks to themselves "Look at that dirty Mexican" is just as racist as an individual starting a campaign to deport every Mexican from our country because they believe Mexicans are dirty. Most of the acts towards hatred and racism found in history are based upon minor infractions of human relations. What society has dubbed "Political Correctness" is truely just the attempt to remove minor ideas from our society that lead to the bigger problems.
Sure, stereotypes are "proven true". The question shouldn't be if they are, the question should be why they are being proven true. Is it because all Black people really do like stealing bikes and eating watermelon while Mexicans are at any given point in time attempting to steal a white man's job and empregnate his daughter? Of course not. There is an overlying problem that is forcing this type of response and activity. What is this problem? Do a little "more research into History" Isabella, and it'll be a little more clear.
