Shame that they're giving up on the season, I heard that all they got in return for Wells was a minor league catcher...but I'm a Cubs fan (yeah it's bad) so at least you won something in the past 100 years =/
As for the finkle matter I would only shell that much money out if it was the real deal...no fake bronze stuff.

Yeah, we got the "Padres 2nd best minor league prospect" that happens to be hitting .230 in AA ball and is now behind an All-Star in Varitek on our depth chart. I like the Cubs too because I feel where they're coming from but man this was a bad year for you guys. Are you part of the boot Dusty out of Chicago fanclub too?

Heh, yeah I am. I mean it's not all of his fault, but he has this attitude of "Hey you make 5 errors in 2 games you play two more games. Oh you go 5 for 6 in one game...you're getting too hot, you may want to grab some bench." But then they have some clowns on the field, like pathetic. I must say though a couple years ago in the Nomar trade Boston sent Matt Murton here...I'm really liking him as a player, so thanks! =D
And people are obviously trying to buy it because the proceeds go to charity...yeah that's why, whackjobs.
