What's wrong with playing Guitar Hero? It takes skill and coordination something u must not have. I regularly am of the same opinion as you Mr. Smurf and frequent your wonderful site. I am also a White Sox fan and hate Detroit with a passion and love watching NY beat BOSTON cause far as i'm concerned there is only 1 Sox team. Truly yours, a six year old guitar hero player

I must say though playing Guitar Hero enough to jack up your wrist is something else. I don't even beat off enought to do
that.

Haha, I never said anything was wrong with it. I said it was designed for 6 yr olds that want to look like rock stars. And the lack of skill and coordination thing? Come on, I played guitar during the majority of my free time up until a week ago when I sold my poor baby on eBay for some eggnog money.
I do find it amusing that you hate Detroit tho, wouldn't it make more sense to hate the Twins since the Tigers/White Sox usually are fighting for the bottom of the AL Central rather than for anything of significance.
PS: Hate the Tigers or not, Joel Zumaya is a fucking ridiculously great young pitcher .. he just needs to learn how to field a grounder then throw to first.

btw, guitar hero is somewhat fun in a group setting with people who enjoy it, much like DDR was though admittedly, GH takes way more skill since you have to "strum" and hold the correct notes, not just move your feet rediculously fast and all... *shrug*

Also, What do you guys think about Boston ending up investing over 100 million on Matsuzaka? I think pitchers are getting a little too expensive.. well actually, athletes in general are getting a little too expensive :|

I think the whole situation has become retarded. For guys like Ted Lilly and Gil Meche to get $50 million dollars is insanity. The Matsuzaka situation is somewhat different because they view that original 51 mil as an investment to help them get some of the Japanese market. They can easily make that back in merchandise and on sending NESN over to Japan.
Anyway, the rumor is that MLB.com made a shitload of money off merchandising in addition to a TON of money from the WBC. They're apparently spreading this wealth among the teams and thats why contracts have been so ridiculous this offseason (eg: Carlos Lee and his 100 mil).

I'm more surprised by the fact that the Lions, or whatever their name is, got 51 million dollars to have some other team discuss the possibility of leaving. That is crazy cash here and over there. I hope to see Zito in a Cubs uni next year, but I think our rotation might be set, sadly.

roadie: What model? Mine was a Fender DG-7 Acoustic. I had a friend in high school with this amazing Takamine acoustic/electric so I think if I ever buy another one it'll be one of those.
yourself: Yeah, the funny part is that 40% of that 51 mil will go to the Jap government in taxes. Ouch ;X Zito would be nice but you guys need to re-sign Zambrano ASAP so hopefully they're saving up some cash on the side for that.
