A couple of years ago we wrote
this post about an invention called 'backless brief.' The point of the clothing is to eliminate any and all visible panty lines on the wearer. It was a pretty stupid idea and to be honest the only reason the entry was even created was so we could use an image of a girl wearing them.
Har har, all fine and dandy, case closed, right? Wrong. Apparently the people that make those backless briefs aren't doing so well in the cash department. They somehow figured out (they google themselves.. that's so 2001) that we have an entry mentioning the product; so they have spammed our comments once a month for the past year.
At first I deleted the comments, then I started changing the addresses they were spamming to Goatse. ie: "To see or buy THE pert www.goatse.cx"
That amused me for about a week. Now I'm sick of it and I've decided to officially strike back. Since they obviously Google themselves, my strike comes in the way of simple words. Enjoy seeing this in the search engine results (don't click these links):

Also, just for shits and giggles, I'll throw in these words so that people see them next to her name when they Google for her: "gay sex, pedophilia, nude children, butt rape, I LIKE TO FUCK HORSES, free porn with gorillas humping men, scat is erotic."
That's just how I fuckin roll.

Look, I really appreciate your point of view and comments. Jan has been spamming blogs that have taken up our press releases with links to our competitors (usually desello, becheekywearpert or jandigney.com)for about 6 months now. I've spent a fair proportion of my time chasing up these posts and linking back to our website - it's annoying to say the least.
You'll also see an ALERT on her website about us (The Backless Brief Co), but I can't link to it as her website is down (I suspect prob through a DOS attack from one of your readers :) ).
She also had a press release from our PR company cancelled by writing them a threatening email. This is even though we actually licence her product and she gets a comission from every sale we make - she just doesn't like us much because I suspect.
I think the basic trend you can start to see is that she doesn't like us much and has been trying to financially hurt our company / defeat our promotional efforts with these posts.
HAVING SAID THAT - as much as what she's been doing FUCKING ANNOYS ME and has cost us money, I would ask, in all fairness and for my own sanity, that you please take down the post above. We've been getting more legal problems and threatening messages from her as she blames us for this post - I don't need the hassles, and as much as I'm not happy with what she's been doing, I don't like to see anyone suffer personal pain of the nature she is reportedly enduring because of this post.

I sent you an e-mail with my feelings on the situation and I'll elaborate a bit more in the comments just for everyone else. I'm sorry that you're having troubles with her as she appears to think viral marketing consists of spamming your balls off .. which it doesn't. I don't have any problem removing any reference to you or your company from this post seeing as SHE was the one that spammed us, not you.
As for suffering personal pain, thats kind of a joke. I'm sure theres more than one person in the world named Jan Digney, maybe we were insulting Jan Digney from Southern Africa. Kind of a weak excuse but so is "I'm suffering personal pain cause of words on the Internet that nobody will read except for some idiots dumb enough to Google my name." Even then, as my father always said when I'd fuck up as a kid, "you should have thought of that before you did what you did." She tried to use Google to her own advantage by spamming blogs with her URL and it backfired on her. Now she's getting the publicity she doesn't want. Risk and reward.
My webhost mentioned that she asked for my contact info so if she does decide to send me an e-mail I'll be sure to mention that your company had absolutely nothing to do with this post and that it was her own stupidity and law-breaking that was the cause. Also I've got a lawyer on retainer so if she'd like to push the whole defamation of character issue then I'll be happy to oblige her in an American court.
